Route # 1:
From San José, the easiest and fastest road to Tilajari is to take the Pan American Highway (Rt. # 1) west toward Puntarenas until Naranjo Exit (50 kilometers). Then go north passing Zarcero, Ciudad Quesada until Florencia where you take a right (north) 13 kilometers until the intersection of Muelle. Take a left (west) and Tilajari Resort is 800 meters on the right.

Route # 2
From the Caribbean take the road Guápiles - Río Frío - San Miguel - Venecia - Aguas Zarcas. Take a right (north) go 3 kilometers until Los Chiles de AguasZarcas, then go left for 3 kilometers until an intersection, go left (west) for 15 kilometers until Muelle intersection. Go straight 800 meters and Tilajari is on the right.

Route # 3
From the north pacific beaches, take the road from Caas to Tilarán, follow the scenic route around the northen part of Arenal Lake, past the Volcano through La Fortuna until the town of El Tanque. There you take a left at the church, go (north) 2 kilometers then right (east) 17 kilometers and Tilajari is on the left.

Route # 4
From the south pacific (Jacó, Manuel Antonio) take the road Jacó - Orotina - San Mateo - Atenas to the Pan American Highway (Rt. # 1 ) Then go left (west) until Naranjo Exit where you take a right passing through Zarcero, Ciudad Quesada until Florencia where you take a right (north) 13 kilometers until the intersection of Muelle. Take a left (west) and Tilajari Resort in 800 yd on the right.

Route # 5
From the city of Puntarenas, take the Pan American Highway (east ) until San Ramón, follow the road (north) toward La Tigra - Fortuna. Then go east (4 kilometers) until El Tanque, go left (north) at the church for 2 kilometers then right (east) 17 kilometers and Tilajari is on the left. Another option is to go from San Ramón - Zarcero - Ciudad Quesada - Florencia - Muelle.
