Amazonat Jungle Lodge, together with Uakari Lodge, has been selected by DiscoverBrazil as one of the top two lodges in the Amazon, because of the abundant wildlife and the nature tourism experience they offer. Amazonat Jungle Lodge is located 158 kilometers (98 miles) east of Manaus, the capital of the State of Amazonas, in northern Brazil.
Amazonat Jungle Lodge offers a complete variety of nature viewing tours, as well as, survival trips. In order to satisfy such a varied and entertaining program, the lodge is located in a unique region where the visitor is offered all the typical characteristics naturally found in the Amazon ecosystems. Amazonat offers a variety of tours including mountain bike, canoe, motor boat and walking trails. Don´t miss the overnight camping at Jane´s Place where you will experience the night sounds of the jungle up close or the Night Tour where you will see tarantulas coming out of their lairs and fluorescent fungus.
Amazonat Jungle Lodge encompasses 1200 hectares (3200 acres) of land. The privately owned property is covered with primary forest interlaced by small creeks that connect to the Urubu River, a tributary of the Amazon River, which flows behind the property. The acidity of the water in this region inhibits the proliferation of viruses and mosquitoes. Stays at the Amazonat Jungle Lodge can be considered mosquito free!

The Amazonat is a Sustainable Tourism Ecolodge, which provides educational and economical support to several small communities in the surrounding area. Most employees are Caboclos or local natives who are learning a specific trade. Services offered at the Amazonat Jungle Lodge are designed to allow the Caboclos to improve their lives while offering visitors a more natural environment. Therefore, some services offered may not be at international hotel standards.
